Keloid Removal Before & After Miami

Patient 1

Before and immediately after ear keloid excision and steroid injection!

Keloids are a benign mass‼️Very annoying but not dangerous. It is basically a very thick scar that grows outside the initial boundary of the scar. Keloids can be treated for cosmetic reasons.

Patient 2

My approach to treating keloids involves a four-pronged method surgical removal using non-absorbable sutures, steroid injections, compression therapy, and silicone treatments. While radiation therapy is an option, it does carry risks, and I typically reserve it as an alternative when other treatments are not successful. It’s crucial to aggressively address keloids, as surgical removal alone can result in a high recurrence rate.

Patient 3

Keloid excision with kenalog injection. Wound is ready to start the silicone sheeting! Multimodality treatment is the key to treat those famous keloids‼️

Patient 4

Tonight i want to show you guys a keloid from ear piercing. Only one on the front and one on the back were done for now ☺️

Combination therapy (surgery, silicone sheeting, and corticosteroid injections) is an effective approach to win over those challenging scars.
